Each leaf is carefully picked, gently steamed and slowly stone-ground into an emerald-green powder. No shortcuts. No rush. Just time.

Matcha is about more than taste. It is a reminder. A reminder to be present. To let go of the pursuit of more, faster, bigger — and instead pause for a moment of stillness.

Yumeki began with a longing for something more than just a drink — a small ritual that could offer a moment of breathing space in the middle of the day. We were drawn to matcha because it gave us a reason to slow down. It became our way of creating a small piece of the day for ourselves, making room for our own pace while the world around us keeps rushing forward.

Behind Yumeki is a team with backgrounds in behavioural science, nutrition, public health and gastronomy, with roots across different parts of the world. This diversity shapes the way we work: with curiosity, thoughtfulness and respect for both the ingredient and the people behind it.

We choose the varieties we want to drink ourselves — flavours that appeal to both curious beginners and devoted tea lovers. Our suppliers are based in Japan, China and South Korea, and every variety is selected with great care. Each tea carries its own unique character, shaped by the place and the people who cultivate it.

For us, the ritual is not about perfection. It is about creating space for the little moment. When the water meets the powder, when the whisk creates the foam, when you take the first sip. A moment free from distraction. A bowl of matcha may be small, but it holds a quiet power capable of changing the course of an entire day.

Yumeki is for those who want to choose consciously. For those who want to drink something that tastes like more than just tea — a small moment of calm amidst it all.

It all begins with a single leaf and a quiet thought:
Here and now is enough.

Our journey It all begins with a single leaf.
